Work
Prioritization framework
A pragmatic approach to turning complexity into clarity—used to align multi-team roadmaps and uncover high-leverage opportunities.
Misaligned priorities waste resources and hinder product developmentI developed a framework to evaluate backlog items across key variables; Customer Value, Strategic Value, and Feasibility Value. This prioritization framework helps:
• Uncover misalignment between strategic goals and delivery
• Prevent high-cost/low-impact work from making it through
• Ground discussions in measurable, weighted criteria
• Build trust across cross-functional teams by showing why something is prioritizedA Weighted prioritization model
Depending on current business climate and the enterprise priorities, a weighted approach allows for flexibility where the weight of each value type can be adjusted resulting in updated priorities within minutes.
Opportunity Value:
Evaluates scope of impact on savings, incremental revenue, or cost avoidance.
Customer Value:
Measures benefit to customer experience
Strategic Value:
Assesses alignment with long-term company goals or cross-org priorities
Feasibility Value:
Time-to-build based on team velocity, tech complexity, and teams involved
Opportunity Value * Weight + Customer Value * Weight + Strategic Value * Weight + Feasibility Value * Weight = Feature Score
DSS Migration: Drop-ship Crisis in Mexico
Two weeks before Buen Fin, Mexico’s biggest sales event, our drop-ship system went down because of a malware attack. Orders weren’t going through, and the country’s 500+ vendors were stuck without a way to fulfill anything. It was the worst possible timing.
I started by working with our solutions architect, who designed a manual workaround so vendors could process orders temporarily. I met with the Mexico team to understand how long they could hold on. From there, I got to work figuring out how to move them over.
I learned the system myself so I could teach it. I translated the UI, the documentation, and the training sessions into Spanish. Then I ran live training for the Mexico support team. Since vendors didn’t speak English, I also had to translate communications and coordinate the migration across time zones, teams, and tools.
Normally this kind of migration takes 12 weeks. We did it in 7 days. All 500+ vendors were fully migrated before Buen Fin started. Orders went through with no disruptions. What I took away from this
• Curiosity matters. I didn’t know the system, so I figured it out and became the trainer.
• Frugality isn’t just about budget. It’s about using what you have when time and resources are limited.
• The work got done. Mexico fulfilled every order during their biggest week of the year.
Other things I Have Done
• Recognized with an award for collaborative impact. Praised for strategic thinking, rapid integration, and helping teams align quickly despite ambiguity.
• Built strategies and roadmaps from the ground up: SEO, Analytics, Voice of the Consumer.
• Mentored PMs and team members across functions. Known for creating clarity, building confidence, and helping others grow into more strategic thinkers.
• Supported Costco’s online expansion in New Zealand, Sweden, and Iceland. Rolled out business delivery in the UK and stood up a critical new depot in Perth to support West Coast fulfillment.
• Identified a major iOS app bug at Starbucks before release. Also caught an SEO issue based on a Slack message, audited the site, and drove a set of recommendations to cross-functional teams.
About
I’m a Group Product Manager focused on web strategy, growth, and cross-functional execution. I lead Starbucks.com — a site that reaches millions and blends storytelling, digital ordering, and customer journeys at scale.
I started my career cooking rotisserie chickens. I’ve launched global markets, implemented enterprise platforms, and helped teams grow into their best work.
I build product experiences that are measurable, lovable, and scalable.
My Story
I moved to the U.S. from Chile without speaking the language and started out cooking rotisserie chickens at Costco.
I raised a family while earning my degree from the University of Pennsylvania; working full-time, studying late, and learning how to lead by doing the hard things first.
Today, I lead the strategy for one of the most visited websites in the world. I’ve launched international markets, implemented global platforms, resolved high-stakes crises, and built teams and products that scale.
My approach is grounded, thoughtful, and relentlessly curious. I don’t chase shiny features: I ask better questions, connect the dots, and shape products people actually want to use.
I’ve mentored product managers, partnered across continents, and jumped in before being asked; not because it’s easy, but because it’s right.
If you’re building something that matters, I want in.
